I had bought this for the holidays but just gave it to my son at 2 1/2 for something fun for us to do outside this fall and he LOVES it!!!! He also has a Kettler trike that was given to him as a gift, but he will not even attempt to pedal it. He will let me push him on it but won't even let me put his feet on the pedals. This Kazam bike is just adores!!!! He feels like a big kid on it. We have the seat at the lowest setting (he is a very tall 2.5 yo, more the size of a 3.5 year old), and in less than a month he can now lift his feet off the ground while coasting for a couple of seconds. His balance on the bike has greatly improved and we have to plead with him to put the bike away to come in for dinner. He can propel himself quite fast on it now and is beginning to balance independently. I anticipate this spring he will master the bike. I was looking for a gross motor activity for him this fall, and this bike has been a great way for him to burn off some energy - he has even made it entirely around the block on it! It has also taught him to steer, which has carried over to his other ride on type toys. I'm sure eventually he will pedal a bike, but he's not interested now, so the Kazam has been a great way for him to enjoy the bike experience. This was a wonderful purchase and I am so glad I didn't wait until the holidays to give it to him, as he would have had to wait many more months to enjoy it. I highly recommend this bike!!!!

Grip On 30282 Grip Safety Vest

Be seen and be safe! I wear this vest to run and bike in the dark and it is obvious that drivers can see me much better. The LEDs are nice and bright. You can adjust the blinking pattern or even make the lights stay on continuously. The vest also has broad reflective bands. The mesh fabric helps you to stay cool. The vest is designed to fit loosely, but does not move around too much while I am running. It does not interfere at all while I am on my bike. A velcro adjustment tab on each side lets the vest easily accommodate a wide range of body types and sizes and lets you get a custom fit. The vest is powered by a couple of AA batteries. Since the LEDs use such little power, the batteries will last a long time. My only complaint is that the on/off switch is a little hard to use and is a weak point in the vest's construction. I've used these vests for a few years and I am now on my second one. The first vest worked for about 1.5 years and then the lights went out. I think the little wires near the switch simply broke. But for the price, this is not such a big problem. Just be careful when you store it -- do not wad it up or put something heavy on top of it. Some reviewers may think that you will look dorky running in this vest, but I live in a college town and several students have said the vest is cool!

Update: Some other reviews talk about using this vest with a backpack, so maybe my experience will help you. I carry a backpack when commuting to work on my bike. I am a medium-sized, not fat or thin. I can wear the vest OVER my small backpack without changing its adjustment. After paying a couple of hudred dollars recently to have two bicycles tuned up at local repair shops, I decided to start doing it myself. At first I balked at the price of this Repair Stand, but when it arrived, I couldn't believe the quality workmanship of this tool. It telescopes out to position a bike at the perfect height to work on and when you're through, it folds up relatively compactly for storage.

I've already put it to use to tune up my wife's Cannondale, so the stand is already starting to pay for itself.

Excellent utility trailer

Aosom Elite Luggage Trailer Removable

My choice to go with this trailer was price, and to allow me to once again enjoy my hobby of RC flying. I received the item quickly, about 2-3 days from the order being placed.
The instruction manual was very easy to understand, I only needed to refer to it because of the placement of the wheel bearings, spacers and retaining clips. The only tool needed to assemble the trailer is also included.

The pan of the trailer bed is sturdy and very adaptable for my needs, I ended up modifying it to carry the planes, (will void the warranty but not worried)
My trailer is set up to carry 2 RC aircraft, each can weigh between 7-13 pounds, plus all the field kit to support a whole day at the field.
I am up to about 46 lbs, tires and tubes are still good, no trailer bed warping either
Purchased some replacement tubes and happy to say that I have not used them.
Recommended that you do check the Schrader valve cores and ensure they are seated correctly, one was not and lost air overnight.

Although I do not use it, the supplied top is a tight fit and perfectly okay
Trailer will fold flat for storage
Wheels are super easy to remove
Wheel guards are a plus and easy to remove if you need to access a narrow gap

My one and only complaint, is that the webbing strap is very weak and already separated where it attaches to the carrier arm. I was able to secure it with a couple of cable ties and is now okay.

In conclusion and after using this now for a couple of months, I am very happy to have this trailer - Price, Quality, and Adaptability = 5 Stars

Kent Dual Drive Tandem Comfort

We received the Kent Tandem Bike about two weeks ago. We purchased this bike so my oldest, who is autistic, could ride with the family (as opposed to going in shifts with one of staying home to watch him). The brakes needed a little adjusting and the wheels needed to be trued (slightly). The only complaint was with the tires. The stock tires are from a company called Duro. The size is 26 x 2.0 but they are squarer looking then round. The tires have a groove down the middle. The shoulders of the tire come in contact with the ground and the center doesn't. It feels like this creates a lot of resistance as it did not coast well (even inflated to the maximum PSI of 45). Because of the square tire stance, the bike felt off cornering. I replaced the tires with Bontrager Solana balloon tires (26 x 2.35) and it made a world of difference. The Bontrager tires are rounded with only the center making contact with the road. With the new tires, the bikes is very sturdy when cornering and coasts well also. Even with the extra $40 spent on tires, I would recommend this bicycle. My Autistic son loves it as well!

Written by Kurt Vonnegut under the name of his alter-ego Kilgore Trout, this book is an absolute masterpiece. When I first read it a couple of years ago, I thought it was simply a great comedy and parody of a sci-fi novel, but now with a few more years' perspective (and I like to think) maturity, I have found much meaning which I missed the first time around.

This book comments on everything -- morals, ethics, philosophy, religion, creation, sexism, racism, politics, government, friendship, love, the past, the future, and everything. And it isn't boring, it's instead typical of Vonnegut in that it's a fast-paced romp through the materiel. This book will leave you rolling on the floor laughing, while at the same time reconsidering your point of view on everything.

This book is a must read, and I hope they reprint it soon.

Great trainer for a great price

ProForm 290 Indoor Cycle Trainer

This is an excellent bike for the price. I was going to purchase a used commercial spin bike, but while I could find good prices, I was put off by the cost of shipping. When I found this one with the great price of $269 with free shipping, I couldn't pass it up. Well, the bike arrived within 3 days and I could not of been more pleased. It only took me about half an hour to take out of box and assemble with only 6 nuts and bolts. All the main parts were attached. I was expecting it to be noisy, but it is not and with the over 40lb flywheel, you will get a workout. It just takes a few minutes to get up to full cardio. I do want to add that if you are short this bike may not be for you. I am short and I had to set everythin to its lowest setting for my height. My inseam is 27" which would be the shortest for this bike. I did change the seat to a softer seat that I had on my other bike, which is just my personal preference. Overall I give the bike 5 stars, It's built like a rock, the price is great and it gives you a excellent workout. It also looks great in the black and red. It is not commercial quality, but will give you everthing you need for home use, you will not be dissapointed. I have it in my theater room and cannot stay off it. I can now get a great workout while watching movies instead of seating on my butt for 2 hours. I don't feel like I'm wasting time.

My grandparents came to visit over the holidays and they liked using it on the table for their arms. I don't know if it's the product I am so happy with or just the fact that I have found some underwear that fits comfortably and does everything I was hoping it would do. I ride a bicycle as my main form of transportation and was having some issues with my 'boys' being pinched while I was riding wearing normal cotton boxer briefs. This product fastened the 'boys' in a position that alleviates the pinching I was experiencing and does away with some of the extra material on the cotton boxer briefs that felt constricting and was riding up contributing to the pinching I was feeling. I knew nothing about amps prior to this purchase, but I spent literally days reading all I could find. While I viewed dozens of sites overall, take a look at the buying guide at sweetwater if you too are a newbie and want a good, but succinct, overview of the basics. After I understood the various options I read hundreds of reviews (I am a just a little bit on the obsessive, compulsive side if you haven't gathered that yet). The amp was a Christmas present for my son who also received a MIM Strat (that was a month-long research effort!). And yes, he is an extremely spoiled (but deserving) kid. But I didn't want to spend too much as he is a beginner, and I wasn't 100% certain he would stick with his playing. And as he goes away to college next year, portability was a definite factor. This is a fantastic bike rack! I've owned it for a few years, and it has easily adjusted to accomodate every bike from my sons' tiny 16"-wheel first bikes up to full-size mountain bikes. It securely holds bikes with unconventional top bars w/o any special adapters, unlike the more typical carriers where the bikes "hang" from the carrier. It's well-made, and easy to install, easy to adjust, and easy to store. Another nice feature is the ability to quickly fold down the vertical bar so I can open the rear hatch of our SUV without having to remove the rack. Bike Bicycle Cycle Crank Puller

Located on one end of this tool is a socket that fits the crank arm nut...The other end fits inside the crank arm and there is a wrench to turn it located in the package. See the small photo...This is not the ONLY crank puller I own and NONE of my others came with a crank arm nut remover...In fact with my other puller I had to buy a socket wrench just to remove the crank nut BEFORE that puller would work...Not buying another tool to make this one work means this one is much cheaper since you can simply use it as it comes to you and it does the job..The black end screws completely off.. You MUST remove that inorderto slip the other tool upon the flat parts of the socket..The red handle wrench that comes with this has a hole in one end..Put that on the flat spots of the shiny part and screw the black part back onto the tool..NOW leave it that way and simply move the red handle wrench back and forth to which end you are using at the time. This is simple. It's not an expensive tool but it works well and is low in cost..Screw the black part in first with the center pin far enough out it will NOT hit on the end of the inner part of the crank. When you have the big black part FULLY inserted into the crank arm slowly screw the shiny part inside the black part..Once it's tight stop, using a rubber hammer or a hammer with a block of wood between the tool and the hammer bang it straight on pretty hard. Screw the shiny part in some more and if the crank does nt start to come off bang it again. Warning DO NOT bang hard NOR directly on the tool with a hard faced hammer or you WILL damage the tool..The idea of banging is to break the arm loose..This tool WILL pull hard and as you screw the inside part into the black part that puts pressure on the arm to release it. You may need to soak that arm in oil over night if a light tap don't work.. The ezip 1000 front and rear suspension is a definite plus as it makes typical road and sidewalk expansion joints un-noticeable. Even speed bumps can be taken sitting down if you slow your speed to a reasonable level. Quality is very good and the design is well thought-out. Safety is also very good and the brakes are excellent. I agree with the age restriction placed on this by the manufacturer as it is not a child's toy but a motorized bike (of sorts). Teens would have no difficulty with this and can use it for any type of travel that a bike would normally be used for (within a 6 mile radius). I would invest in a good lock however since the interest level is typically very high and I get numerous questions and comments when I ride it. I see this as a very practical and useful transportation device that is also very fun to use,I have found myself using it far more than I imagined. The scooter folds up easily so I am able to put it in my car and use it in a variety of places and on various terrains.....it runs great on sidewalks, concrete, grass, and dirt.and the scooter provides plenty of power and zip. Riding the scooter is very smooth and it's easy to steer thanks to the full suspension. Additionally, the scooter is very quiet,so please know if you buy this scooter you will be more then happy with it,you do not have to get the super turbo 800w.

Topeak Super Bicycle Chain Tool

First i will admit i have never used a bicycle chain tool before but i have used a motorcycle one which is the same concept so im fairly mechanical. Never in my wildest dreams did i think it would be so easy. If anyone is afraid to do it fear not it is very very simple provided you still have your old chain to measure against your new one.

I purchased this based on reviews to replace a 15yr old chain on a Jeep mountain bike i bought at sears (yes i know its not a real bike but considering 15yrs later the tubes still hold air after never been replaced im ok with that). This tool is incredibly tiny. My first reaction was wow this will never push a pin out of a chain it is that small. Weight comparison it weighs as much or little as a garmin 500 computer (very very light). Quality after breaking old chain and sizing new chain seems very well made.

How to use:

First thing to do is to break the old chain off the bicycle. This is where the chain hook comes in very handy. If you loose it fear not you can make the same out of metal clothes hangers. Hook the chain hook anywhere on the chain preferably on the bottom so its easier to work with more room. Put the chain tool on the link and turn into it contacts the pin. I prefer to have it dead center on the pin even though there very small its fairly easy to do. Next step is to push the pin out. A smooth continuous motion with the hex key is best as it will give you a nice smooth effortless push. For this step if you are not reusing the chain its fine to push the pin all the way out.

Second step is to cut down your other chain. Same tool used for the process the exact same way. Measure the old chain vs the new one and de-link to size. If your chain is really worn then it will be slightly off, make sure you round off the new chain to the closest link SHORTEST to the end of the chain. Use the tool to push the pin out but this time be careful not to push the pin out all the way as its needed to put the chain back together. I pushed it thru until it started just getting difficult again then stopped and pulled the link apart. Although its not recommended you shouldn't reuse the pin you just pushed out slightly as it will have slightly deformed while pushing out. Best thing to do is to replace the pin. A drop of oil on it makes it much easier to go in. There fairly cheap to buy in a pack and are good to have. If you're using a masterlink make sure you have 2 INNER links so the masterlink fits, put it on the chain give it a quick yank will squeezing the link together and done. Don't forget to lube up the pins on the masterlink as well.

The chain tool looks fairly quality, was able to break a 15yr old chain and de-link a brand new KMC 7speed chain without any bending or breaking of the pin or links. Tool gets a 5 out of 5 as an initial review.

Another reason to buy this over cheaper single chain tools that only have one spot to break the chain is that you can also de-stress a link that has just been re-pinned if it feels very tight.

Pros: Affordable.
Quality.
Size.
Larger hex key can be used for leverage if needed.
The pin is removable it comes as the whole screw mechanism. I wasn't able to find one online except for a store in the UK. There about 4euros each so cheap replacement pin.

Cons: The chain hook is very sharp at the ends i would be careful keeping this in a multibag with a tube, do not keep this in your jersey pocket.
I can easily see myself losing this if i keep it somewhere and forget where it is, its really that small not really a con just a heads up.

P.S. Don't think of this as a shop tool that can be used heavily and roughly. Its made to use in a pinch or for the home mechanic who replaces chains a couple times a yr.

A Kid's Review

The goonies is a movie with a rag tag junkfood kinda group with a lot of humor but sometimes you have to give it a break [it was made in 1985]and stay with it.I loved this movie and watch it over and over again.Beware though this movie is funny but they say A LOT of cuss words and I mean A LOT.They also don't censor it [1 part but 2 if you get the uncut version].In this movie on the way they find out that greedy developers are making their family move and go into the main charecter Mikey's attic without permission and find a treasure map to a pirate One Eyed Willy's treasure and they also find a artical about a person named Chester Copperpot. Once they get to a certain place they find the Fettelli's [i think that's the right spelling] that are wanted by the police.Watch the Movie if you want to see if Mikey,Mouth,Data,Chunk,Brad,Stef,and Andy make it to One Eyed Willy's rich stuff and not have to move away from the Goon Docks.

TOUGH little bike

Schwinn Loop 7 Speed Folding Bike

I usually never write reviews, but I wanted to address some of things written by other customers here. First, the bike is not heavy. Some people make it seem like the bike can only be lifted by a weight lifter, but I am a tiny muscle-less 115lb girl, and I can lift the bike fine. Second, my bike came in a perfect condition and I didn't need to take it to a bike shop at all. That may vary according to where you live and how lucky you are, but I don't think that should deter you at all from purchasing this bike.

The folding of the bike takes maybe three seconds, as does the unfolding. It's really easy to store it in small places, like under a bed in my case. The seats go up high enough to be comfortable for my boyfriend who is extremely long leg-ed and 6'4''. It also goes short enough to accommodate an extremely short leg-ed 5'2'' person (me). The only major drawback I found in the bike is that the seat is very uncomfortable. It hurt to sit on the seat after a day of briefly riding, so I replaced it with a seat that is wider with more cushion and shock absorption.
The rack is also pretty useful, but I found that it is a little too slippery. My stuff kept slipping off even after tying them with a bungee cord.

With all this said, I can honestly say that I love this bike. I ride my bike in NYC, so before purchasing this bike I was a little worried about the safety, but so far (knock on wood) it has proved to be very sturdy. I also get many looks from bikers and non-bikers alike, and it makes me feel proud when I ride it around. It also doesn't hurt that this bike is better looking than all the bikes I've seen around. :) BUY THIS BIKE!

As a folding bike, that is the primary design element, and it is assumed that one is looking for a folding bike. I previously used a Schwinn Loop 7-Speed Folding Bike, which I found very useful, but ultimately found it slower than I desired and more work to use, although I was pleased with that bike, I felt I had the room for a larger folding bike to gain additional speed and ease of riding.

It is a little over 30 lbs, and generally as described and seen in the pictures. There should be no surprises. It is not something one would carry around much, but it is a good bike which one can more easily store in doors and transport by vehicle.

This bike is a good deal. The service from the shipper is seemingly top quality. However, when ordering a bike online, one must be prepared to do assembly and adjustments as needed. While my bike arrived without any issues and no damage, small adjustments were necessary for perfect operation. So keep that in mind when ordering a bike. One can always have an experienced bicycle technician work on it as well. Since it folds, it is easier to transport by vehicle.

For my uses, I added accessories, although I did not swap any parts. To make this useful for me, I added my Schwinn Quick Release Wire Basket to the handle bars, as well as a Bell Dawn Patrol LED Headlight as I ride at night often.

To the rear, I added a Schwinn Alloy Rear Rack, and to that I attached a Wald #582 Folding Rear Mounted Bike Basket (with zip ties), and a RavX Rack Light Rear Mounted Light, which is particularly useful as it mounts to the rack directly.

Now, it is very useful for shopping and can carry quite a lot. It is a pleasant ride and its folding ability does not seem to impact the riding experience for a bike of this design and weight.

I store it only folded at the frame, although one can also fold the peddles, and easily loosen the handlebars and lower the seat completely. The pictures I have uploaded show the end of an actual grocery shopping trip and it folded up. Also, the security measures I have are shown.

Nautilus 100323 E514c Elliptical Trainer

The elliptical was packaged and shipped quite well. I could schedule home delivery according to my convenience, and was delivered on time.

Assembly instructions are clear and simple. The nuts and bolts are packed to make it even easier. Some bolts have to be screwed where the allen key does not fit. You can only do it by by removing the key after every quarter turn, and it can take a good 10 minutes per bolt. Took more than 2 hours for the complete assembly.

Being below-average height (5'4"), my main concern was the stride and moving hand bar dimensions. Majority of the professional ellipticals (in my previous gym) were little too big and I could not use the moving hand bars at all. This elliptical is super-perfect for my height, and I can comfortably grab the top of the moving hand bar without stretching or leaning forward.

The stride is comfortable and the foot pedals are large enough to adjust foot position according to individual comfort.

The machine is solid and very well built. I have it on carpet (like new) with 1/2" thick foam mats on top, and the machine does not shake or sway at all. It is quite heavier than I am (hey, not bragging), so this is not a big deal I guess.

Overall, excellent value for money and works perfectly.

My only complaint so far: It shows far less calories burnt than my gym's elliptical - for the same weight, age, bpm and speed. At 150 bpm rate my gym elliptical shows at least 400 cals burnt for 30 minutes workout. This machine does not even reach 100 cals. I would burn 900 cals per hour (yummm... triple chocolate cake) at the gym and now I am burning 190 cals per hour (ugh... a banana), which is kinda disappointing.

I purchased this one as a spare. I had purchased one in blue and it lasted for 2 years, without a problem, but then one day, the red light didn't come on...you could shake it and the light would flash...but it was a "no go". I went to the Belkin site and discovered that you can return it for a replacement. I even registered the mouse at the same time that I went in to fill out the return paperwork. It took about 5 min., they email you a return number, a form to add to the package, a mailing lable with the return number showning.
I mailed it in a old, tiny recycled bubble envelope. It cost us $1.95 for postage and I received it in about 10 days. They replaced it and I now have a new mouse that cost $1.95. They honored their guarantee and I was extremely impressed with their company.
SO all of you who are complaining about your mouse...go to the belkin web site, fill out the form and return it. I'm surprised you folks didn't think of that.
Just to add, it is a little mouse...perfect for travel. My husband has big hands and he has no problem with it. I think he likes it more than I do, 'cause he really missed it and grumbled a lot until we received the new one.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small mouse. No problems with the retractable cord, the wheel, or the left and right click buttons and never had any probs until it just stopped dead.

Kryptonite Evolution Bicycle FlexFrame 3 25 Inch

I've been using this product for the last three weeks now and i can only say good about it.

I have to say the internal space to lock the bike (3.25" by 7") is a little bit small as it won't go around a large street poles, but if you manage to find a small street pole or a bike stand, it's extremely good as its less space for thieves to use a lever and be able to break the lock. It is pretty lightweight for this kind of lock, it feels solid and it works like a charm. The included Flex Cable is very useful to protect the wheels while locking only the frame with the lock. The little velcro on the Flex Cable has fallen, but i could re-sew it to the cable, but it's holding by itself so i didn't bother.

I also bought the Avenir Seat Locker (3mm / 2 feet) with this just to lock the bike seat to the Flex Cable as an added security.

Very good product as far.

This is a 3mm cable. Steel cables of all kinds are inherently insecure. They prevent casual theft and they can be cut with wire cutters or or the smallest bolt cutters or even scissors. Small saws cut through them easily as well. Any lock attached is likely able to be defeated with a hammer or picked or broken by anyone who knows how and has some practice.

What they do provide is protection against people from picking it up and walking away with it. Seats and other accessories are generally safely secured with cables because they are not the primary target of thieves. A thief who sees a good bike, and approached it, and finds it too securely locked for his particular tastes, may take things attached to the bike, such as lights, seats, bags, etc, especially those with quick releases.

My bike is a Folding Bike, as as such, it is pretty easy to take apart. The saddle is not special, however, it has a seat post rear rack attached to it, which has a Rack Light Rear Mounted Light attached to that, as well as a Folding Basket. All together, that is a lot of useful stuff which I bought and I do not want to see it walking away.

It is easy to use and there will be a variety of ways to use this cable. I secured it to the frame by putting wrapping it around the frame and putting the large loop through the small loop, and pulling that tight, and then wrapping the cable around the underside of the saddle frame, and then securing the loop to the rear underside of the saddle with a Master Lock 121T, which is small, secure enough, covered in a black coating to match the bike's scheme, and comes as a keyed-alike set, so I can use the other lock for this bike as well, and use one key for both.

I am very happy with this small cable. I do not think it would be secure with a thicker cable, as anybody will to cut this likely will be able to cut a thicker cable. If one wants to secure one's saddle more absolutely, it would be better to secure the bike itself or to remove the saddle when the bike is unattended.

I have a picture of it being used upload to secure my saddle. This cable can be used to secure any accessory, such as a basket, helmet, bag, etc, provided one can attach it to the item.

Let me say that I am no spring chicken and when it arrived on my front porch, I almost sent it back unopened - a huge, heavy box. I did drag it in to the house and opened the box to find a myriad of pieces. Not having an ounce of mechanical ability, I figured there was no way I would be able to assemble the thing. For the heck of it, I looked at the directions--well, the first step didn't look too hard, so I gave it a try, then step 2, etc. I must say that these were the clearest directions that I have ever seen and all the screws, bolts, etc. were sort of shrink wrapped on two cards, with a picture, number and name. They could not have made it any easier. As far as the performance of the machine, it does what it is supposed to do and I am very pleased with it. I only wish the manufacturer would have included a magic bottle of energy so I could work out more than 10 minutes at a time. :-)

I was attracted by the awesome vintage look and the fact that it's a single speed cruiser with coaster brakes (brakes that operate by pedaling backward) like the bikes I had as a kid. Exactly what I wanted as an adult who hasn't ridden a bike in a couple of decades, and wants to get one for fitness and for cutting back on use of my car for things like grocery shopping. It didn't hurt that it had the lowest price tag of Target's cruiser bikes, either.

I absolutely love my Legacy! It rides well and is a great workhorse. I've gotten compliments on the vintage look. Only issue I had was that I had to borrow an allen wrench from a co-worker so I could tighten the handlebars, but that's hardly the bike's fault. Big box store employees who assemble these bikes most likely aren't bicycle experts, so it's a good idea to give the bike a good once-over before going for your first spin on it.

For what it is - an inexpensive, basic cruiser - the Legacy is an awesome bike.

Great little pump

Topeak Road Morph Bike Gauge

Before getting this I went to Target and got a $20 stand up pump with a gauge. I tried that out and with all my weight (~130lbs) I had trouble getting to 60PSI. I took that back and found this online. It looked great so I ordered two, one as a gift, and we're both very happy.

The valve head being on a flexible tube is great and helps to not put wear on the tube's valve. It extends a little and makes for a very easy pump, since you can hold it however you like. The bottom is rubberized and got a little skuffed when I used it on the side of the road but that's the least of my concerns. The little foot pad that flips out looks pretty weak too but I was able to easily pump to 65PSI by hand, and I am not a strong man, so there isn't much need to make it a "stand up" pump. The handle that flips out is very nice as well, helps the grip a lot.

To use this with a schrader valve, unscrew the front. There's a little piece you can turn around from presta, took us a while to find that. I don't have any trouble reading the gauge (with PSI and Atmospheres) but my father does at times. The writing isn't huge, though it does have large markings for major divisions.

My first trip out after putting this on my bike I realized my pressure was low about five miles from home. I pulled over and got this out (having never pumped my tires on my own before) and it was a breeze, back on the road in a few minutes. It may not be an expensive, "serious biker" tool, but I can't imagine what this is really lacking.

Bicycle Poker Standard Playing Players

Bicycle brand cards have been around for longer then I've been alive (since 1867) and they've rightfully earned the reputation for being the best quality. If you play cards regularly or need them for standard magic tricks these are perfect. No need to look further. All the good things you hear and read about them are true.

Having said that, keep in mind these are the traditional "808" poker cards, perfect for most users/players. But anyone shopping for playing cards should know Bicycle cards come in many varieties such as for use in pinochle, and Lo Vision cards for the visually impaired, or Jumbo Index sizes with larger type (often used for playing Bridge). They also make a "PokerPeek" design on their Pro series decks that simplifies looking at hole cards, and narrower bridge decks, and thicker Masters Edition cards designed to last longer. This is important to note if you are specifically looking for the thick material. These 808's are not the thicker ones, they are the traditional ones but for 99% of the poker playing and magic making world they are more than sufficient. They are much better than those cheapie no-name cards you might get at a variety warehouse or 99 cent store. Beware if you buy those, they might not be coated and they may last for no more than one long game before they start to bend and fray.

Bicycle also comes with different back designs (including the traditional rider back and older Vintage backs), and Big Bicycle cards that are four times the normal card size. All are traditionally available with red and blue backs, but other back colors (including black, silver, and even pastel colors) are also available. There is even a "Ghost" deck that is entirely black and white except for red hearts and diamonds on the corners of appropriate cards. Consumer paper versions of the plastic KEM type WSOP decks are sold under the Bicycle brand. And in 2010, Bicycle Playing Cards released special anniversary decks which include a redesigned rear side, redesigned Ace of Spades, and 1885-2010 written under the numbers on the corner on each card.

I have to say though, at $24.39 these 808's seem a little pricey, and I'm stunned to see the "retail price" for 12 decks is $37.99! But if you get these cards here at Amazon for $24.39 with free shipping then it's worth the price if you can't get them cheaper at a store closer to you (where you don't have to pay to have them shipped).

UPDATE: As of 2/9/12 these cards are now selling here for $18.99 to $20.00 (depending on the seller) and free shipping if you have Amazon Prime (worth getting, ask me how you can get it for free). NOW IS THE TIME TO STOCK UP AND BUY if you're into poker and can't get them cheaper in a store close to you. This is the cheapest I've seen over the internet. They also make inexpensive barter/gifts to make friends for WTSHTF.

As an aside, many people don't know Bicycle cards are produced and distributed by The United States Playing Card Company (currently out of Erlanger, Kentucky), who also makes Bee (traditionally used by casinos), Tally-Ho, Hoyle, Kem, Aviators (no longer available I believe) and others. That does NOT mean these are all the same quality. They might all be the same quality, but I do not know because I have not used them all recently. I just mention it for a point of interest.

I needed something for our office, to blow out equipment and PC's from dust and junk. Basically to clean incoming electronics off. In our previous building, we had a nice upper level where we had a full sized compressor for air. But in our new offices, it's a single floor and no place to keep it. So we've been doing without, or using a small vac here and there.

Finally decided that anything was better than nothing, so thought I'd give this a shot. I had it overnighted so I could do some testing this weekend. Fired it up in my house after assembling the hose and couplings. I had seen some of the reviews mentioning that it didn't keep it's pressure, so was curious about that. It comes with plumber's tape, for the threads, so I used it and got it assembled quickly enough. Plugged it in and powered it on.

LOUD.

I knew it would be from the other reviews, but I didn't realize just HOW loud. But I let it run and it quickly got up to 60 or 70 PSI, enough for me to test things with, and it seemed like it would do a decent job for my needs. I got it up to 70 again and closed the nozzle's valve, unplugged it, and brought it with me to the office. I let it sit there for about four hours, and it didn't lose any pressure at all - needle was still in the same spot. Plugged it in, found the worst server in storage I could, got the cover off and the hot swap drives out, and started to clean it up. Ended up having to take the screen off of a large window in my office and hang the server out the window to keep all the junk from floating around my office. With it running, I got about four or five minutes of decent cleaning power before I ended up with it running down too much to have good air pressure for cleaning, so I let it sit for another few minutes running, and finished up.

I haven't fired it up to 110 PSI yet (the supposed capacity according to the box) to see how long it will work at that point, but since I don't expect it to be as long lasting as the full sized one, it's more than enough for what we need.

Only complaint is that the nozzle for inflating car tires isn't a quick change nozzle, so I can't just pop it on after using the other ones. It's a screw on one, so you've got to re-tape again. But since I have a smaller electric compressor that is specifically for auto tires, it won't impact my use with this one.

All in all, for under eighty dollars, a great unit. Hose doesn't seem nearly as horrible to me as the other reviewers are talking - doesn't seem brittle to me at all, and is flexible enough for my needs, but I can certainly see where having a standard rubber hose would be a LOT easier.

Unexpectedly Awesome

I gave this external batt pack 5 stars because it works perfectly. the Light up power indicator is great, letting you know how much power it has- a very good feature. Its primary use for me was to recharge my Ipod touch and rechargeable headphones. The Xpal (given a full charge) is able to bring both devices back to full charge when they are dead. And or recharge my Itouch two times on the xpals one full charge. This is exactly what I bought it to do, and on the other had if you want it to charge a cell phone (Iphone or not even a smart phone std slider) XP2000 dose not have enough juice to fully charge a phone, it will give them a charge but not a full one at the cost of draining the Xpal completly. If you want a batt pack for your cell phone or larger divice I would suggest a 4000+ mh.

very good tires

Sunlite Kwest Tire 1 95 Black

Although this tire is labeled as a Pyramid Kwest 1.95 it is actually labeled Kenda Kwest. This tire is in my opinion one of the smoothest running tires available. I bought mine from Niagara Cycle, delivery was quick and they have knowledgeable staff. The Kenda.com people have no knowledge of this size tires. I have a set of 1.50's also. This is my second set of this tire and I have logged over 5000 miles on them (in one year)

Pros: Smooth running/rolling, soft compound grips in turns, wide big appearance on the bike. The tires look bigger than 1.95.

Cons: This relates to the soft compound and it is something you live with, it tends to pick up debris on the road. But the shoulder I ride on has lots of �rap on the side of the road. So like anything you have a feature you like, but has drawbacks, I will go for the handling.

Gets the job done

Innovations In Cycling Inc Adapter

Having no experience with Presta valves, I thought this adapter didn't work until someone told me that the Presta valve on the bike tire needs to be unscrewed. The Presta valve on the bike tire is an all metal assembly - including the cap. The cap does not even disconnect from the presta valve, it just loosens and unscrews.

Before I unscrewed the Presta valve I thought the adapter wasn't pushing a pin inside of the valve; but after I unscrewed and opened the valve, it worked like a charm.

As a side note, a bicycle store put an additional plastic cover over my Presta Valve; but in normal circumstance the valve is just a metal assembly without any plastic cover over it.

If you're not familiar with Presta, look it up real quick on the Internet and look at pictures of the valve opening, etc.
